Fešta od košarke u Trogiru, imamo pobjednike prve ovogodišnje postaje PRO 3×3 Toura i NBA zvijezdu u najavi
Pobjednik prvog ovosezonskog turnira u sklopu PRO 3×3 Toura, održanog u Trogiru, je slovenska ekipa Fridro Koroška. U finalnom susretu, koji je pokazao zbog čega je 3×3 košarka toliko popularna, atraktivna i zanimljiva, nadigrali su ekipu Srebrenika iz BiH 19:17. Hrvatske ekipe Radnik Križevci 3×3 i Marjan stigle su do polufinala. U ljepotici večeri Radnik je poražen od Srebrenika 21:20, dok je Koroška bila bolja od Marjana 20:14.
„Vrhunsko finale, vrhunske ekipe, vrhunski Srebrenik, vrhunski protivnik u finalu i na kraju naša pobjeda. Obranili smo naslov iz prošle godine i vraćamo se opet dogodine po treći trofej. Kada smo u četvrtfinalu protiv Prnjavora okrenuli zaostatak od 17:9 i došli do finala, kada smo pokazali mentalnu snagu, znali smo da možemo do kraja. Vraćamo se na PRO 3×3 Tour, dolazimo sigurno u Umag, a plan su još dva ili tri turnira. Sve je na nivou, velika vidljivost zahvaljujući Sport Klubu i YouTube prijenosima“, naglasio je Jure Ličen iz pobjedničke ekipe Fridro Koroška.
U konkurenciji ekipa do 19 godina prvo mjesto osvojila je ekipa Bokuni koja je u finalu slavila protiv ekipe CVKP 20:12, dok je u finalu prije finala na jednu loptu s 15:14 pobijedila KK Zabok 3×3.
„Košarka 3×3 je super stvar, došli smo u Trogir po trofej i osvojili ga. Krajnji cilj mi je napraviti košarkašku karijeru poput mojih rođaka Sobina“, kazao je član pobjedničke ekipe Filip Sobin. Svi koji su ga gledali uvjereni su da će u tome uspjeti.
U Trogiru smo imali priliku gledati i potencijalnu NBA zvijezdu. Četrnaestogodišnji Luka Režić iz ekipe Bowlio oduševio je u jednoj od svojih prvih izjava u životu:
„U Trogiru je super, volim i klasičnu i 3×3 košarku, a jednom bih volio zaigrati u NBA ligi kao i moj najdraži igrač Sharife Cooper. Brz je i ima dobar šut kao i ja“.
Odličnu organizaciju popratile su uzbudljive i kvalitetne utakmice, lijepo vrijeme i raspoložena publika, a atraktivna lokacija podno Kule Kamerlengo i ovoga je puta pokazala koliko je za turističku promociju hrvatskih destinacija važna suradnja organizatora sportskih manifestacija i lokalne zajednice. Fotografije s PRO 3×3 Toura iz Trogira obići će svijet te istovremeno promovirati 3×3 košarku, Trogir, Dalmaciju i Hrvatsku.
„Ovo je jedna izvanredna sportska manifestacija koja se četvrtu godinu zaredom održava u prekrasnom ambijentu Trogira. Riječ je o sportskom događaju na koji smo ponosni. Nadam se da će se tradicija nastaviti. Čestitam organizatorima, svim natjecateljima, a posebno pobjednicima“, nije krio zadovoljstvo atmosferom i šušurom koje je u Trogir u predsezoni donio PRO 3×3 Tour gradonačelnik Grada Trogira Ante Bilić, koji je uručio nagrade najboljima.
Ponos je riječ koja najbolje oslikava raspoloženje organizatora. Potvrđuju to i riječi člana Udruge PRO 3×3 Tour Tomislava Prpića:
„Zadovoljstvo i ponos, to su osjećaji koji me preplavljuju nakon dvodnevnog spektakla kojeg smo organizirali u Trogiru u kojem se osjećamo kao doma zahvaljujući svesrdnoj pomoći Grada Trogira, Turističke zajednice grada Trogira i mještana. Ovaj prvi turnir u našoj petoj sezoni pokazao je da smo uspjeli izdići 3×3 scenu u Hrvatskoj na višu razinu. Bilo je lijepo, s puno publike. Odaziv ekipa bio je sjajan, gledali smo odličnu 3×3 košarku i u juniorskoj i u seniorskoj konkurenciji. Idemo dalje. Još je devet turnira ispred nas. Pozivam sve u Zagreb na Tomislavac u petak i subotu, 29. i 30. svibnja.“
Uz vrhunsku 3×3 košarku, posjetitelji su mogli uživati i u bogatom popratnom programu. Posebnu pažnju privukao je Kids Day program namijenjen najmlađima, kao i brojne nagradne igre za publiku. Atraktivan show priredila je i akrobatska skupina Dunking Devils svojim spektakularnim zakucavanjima koja su podigla atmosferu i oduševila gledatelje i brojne trogirske turiste iz Engleske, Australije, Njemačke, Novog Zelanda, Francuske koji su ispunili tribine pored Kule Kamerlengo.
Sljedeća postaja PRO 3×3 Toura driven by Opel je Zagreb, gdje će se 29. i 30. svibnja održati novi spektakl u centru grada, na Trgu kralja Tomislava. Zagrebački turnir već je privukao veliku pozornost natjecatelja jer će pobjednik izboriti nastup na Bilbao Quest turniru u Španjolskoj, koji vodi prema svjetskoj 3×3 pozornici – FIBA 3×3 Marseille World Touru. Atraktivna košarka, odlična atmosfera i vrhunska zabava ponovno su zajamčeni.

A basketball celebration in Trogir — we have the winners of the first stop of this year’s PRO 3×3 Tour and an NBA star announcement on the horizon.
The winner of the first tournament of this season’s PRO 3×3 Tour, held in Trogir, was the Slovenian team Fridro Koroška. In the final matchup, which showed exactly why 3×3 basketball is so popular, attractive, and exciting, they defeated the team from Srebrenik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 19–17.
Croatian teams Radnik Križevci 3×3 and Marjan reached the semifinals. In the match of the evening, Radnik was narrowly defeated by Srebrenik 21–20, while Koroška proved stronger than Marjan with a 20–14 victory.
“Top-class final, top-class teams, an outstanding Srebrenik side, a fantastic opponent in the final — and in the end, our victory. We defended last year’s title and we’ll be back again next year aiming for a third trophy. When we came back from a 17:9 deficit against Prnjavor in the quarterfinals and reached the final, when we showed our mental strength, we knew we could go all the way.
We’re returning to the PRO 3×3 Tour, we’ll definitely be coming to Umag, and the plan is to play in two or three more tournaments. Everything is at a high level, with great visibility thanks to Sport Klub and the YouTube broadcasts,” emphasized Jure Ličen from the winning Fridro Koroška team.
In the Under-19 competition, the team Bokuni claimed first place after defeating CVKP 20–12 in the final, while in the “final before the final” they edged past KK Zabok 3×3 by a single basket, winning 15–14.
“3×3 basketball is a great thing. We came to Trogir for the trophy and we won it. My ultimate goal is to build a basketball career like my relatives, the Sobins,” said Filip Sobin, a member of the winning team. Everyone who watched him is convinced that he will succeed in that ambition.
In Trogir, we also had the opportunity to watch a potential future NBA star. Fourteen-year-old Luka Režić from the team Bowlio who impressed everyone with one of the first interviews of his life:
“Trogir is great. I love both traditional basketball and 3×3 basketball, and one day I’d like to play in the NBA, just like my favourite player, Sharife Cooper. He’s fast and has a good shot — just like me.”
The excellent organization was accompanied by exciting and high-quality games, beautiful weather, and an enthusiastic crowd, while the attractive location beneath Kamerlengo Castle once again demonstrated how important cooperation between sports event organizers and the local community is for promoting Croatian tourist destinations.
Photos from the PRO 3×3 Tour in Trogir will travel around the world, simultaneously promoting 3×3 basketball, Dalmatia, and Croatia.
“This is an outstanding sporting event that has been taking place for the fourth consecutive year in the beautiful setting of Trogir. It is a sports event we are proud of, and I hope the tradition will continue. Congratulations to the organizers, all the participants, and especially the winners,” said Trogir Mayor Ante Bilić, who presented the awards and was clearly delighted with the atmosphere and excitement that the PRO 3×3 Tour brought to Trogir during the preseason period.
Pride is the word that best describes the mood among the organizers as confirmed by the words of PRO 3×3 Tour Association member Tomislav Prpić:
“Satisfaction and pride — those are the feelings overwhelming me after the two-day spectacle we organized in Trogir, where we feel at home thanks to the wholehearted support of the City of Trogir, the Trogir Tourist Board, and the local community. This opening tournament of our fifth season showed that we have succeeded in elevating the 3×3 basketball scene in Croatia to a higher level.
It was wonderful, with a large crowd in attendance. The response from the teams was fantastic, and we watched excellent 3×3 basketball in both the junior and senior competitions. We move on — there are still nine tournaments ahead of us. I invite everyone to come to Tomislav Square in Zagreb on Friday and Saturday, May 29 and 30.”
In addition to top-class 3×3 basketball, visitors enjoyed also a rich entertainment program. Special attention was drawn to the Kids Day activities designed for the youngest visitors, as well as numerous prize contests for the audience.
The acrobatic group Dunking Devils also delivered an attractive show with their spectacular slam dunks, raising the atmosphere and delighting spectators as well as the many tourists in Trogir from England, Australia, Germany, New Zealand, and France who filled the stands beside Kamerlengo Castle.
The next stop of the PRO 3×3 Tour driven by Opel will be Zagreb, where a new spectacle will take place in the city centre at Tomislav Square on May 29 and 30.
The Zagreb tournament has already attracted strong interest from competitors, as the winner will secure a spot at the Bilbao Quest tournament in Spain, which leads to the global 3×3 stage — the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Marseille. Exciting basketball, a great atmosphere, and top-level entertainment are once again guaranteed.
The PRO 3×3 Tour driven by Opel is organized by the PRO 3×3 Association with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Croatia and numerous partners and sponsors, including Opel, 24sata, Sport Klub, Basketball.hr, Hell Energy Drink, Aircash, Pixsell, Lenovo, Energy Basket, Tahograf, Antao, Aero ZG, and Cool.
