Poznati pobjednici PRO 3×3 Toura u Umagu, slijede Šibenik i završnica u Novalji
Pobjednik PRO 3×3 Toura u Umagu je Ljubljana Jug 3×3, koja je u finalu bila bolja od svojih sunarodnjaka iz Klančar Kranova rezultatom 22:21 nakon produžetka. Ljubljana Jug 3×3 tako je izborila nastup na završnom turniru koji će se 31. srpnja i 1. kolovoza održati u Novalji.
Isto su u konkurenciji do 19 godina ostvarili igrači ekipe Perkmandlc.com, koji su u finalu svladali 3×3 Zabok rezultatom 19:10.
Tako su oba trofeja završila u Sloveniji. Medalje za Ljubljanu Jug 3×3 osvojili su Luka Kureš, Luka Novak, Matija Kalan i Žiga Fifolt, dok su za Perkmandlc.com nastupili Adnan Šljivar, Gal Štembergar, Martin Grabnar i Žan Đurkić.
Održan je i tradicionalni Kids Day, na kojem su sudjelovali polaznici Košarkaškog kluba Umag, a pridružili su im se i mali turisti koji ljetuju u gradu. Kroz igru i košarkaške izazove najmlađi su imali priliku upoznati čari i pravila 3×3 košarke.
Posebnu energiju programu dali su Dunking Devilsi, koji su atraktivnim zakucavanjima, akrobacijama i zabavljačkim nastupom oduševili publiku te podigli atmosferu.
Događaj je svojom nazočnošću uveličao Tomislav Paškvalin, povjerenik predsjednika Republike Hrvatske za sport i dvostruki zlatni olimpijac u vaterpolu, koji se i sam okušao u šutiranju na koš.
„Košarka i hakl dio su mog odrastanja. To je sport koji sam oduvijek volio, pratio i igrao. Bio je sastavni dio naše svakodnevice još od osnovne i srednje škole. Zato posebno pozdravljam ovakve turnire i ovakve plemenite sportske priče. Kada vidimo svu ovu djecu i mlade ovdje u Umagu, jasno je koliko sport znači za zajedništvo, prijateljstvo i međunarodnu suradnju. Ovo je doista predivna priča“, rekao je Paškvalin.
Nagrade najboljim ekipama uručio je predsjednik Udruge PRO 3×3 Zlatko Galijot, ujedno jedan od sudaca turnira.
„PRO 3×3 Tour ponovno je pokazao kako sport spaja ljude svih generacija. Na terenu smo gledali vrhunsku košarku, a izvan njega stvarala su se nova prijateljstva, širila ljubav prema sportu i njegovalo zajedništvo. Čestitam svim ekipama na odličnoj igri, hvala publici na sjajnoj atmosferi te svim partnerima i volonterima koji su svojim trudom pridonijeli još jednom uspješno organiziranom turniru“, rekao je Galijot.
Umag je bio osma postaja ovogodišnjeg PRO 3×3 Toura. Do velikog završnog turnira u Novalji ostala je još samo jedna postaja – Šibenik, koji će 24. i 25. srpnja ugostiti posljednji kvalifikacijski turnir. Sve turnire prenosi Sport klub.
PRO 3×3 Tour driven by Opel organizira Udruga PRO 3×3 uz podršku Ministarstva turizma i sporta Republike Hrvatske te brojnih partnera i sponzora, među kojima su Opel, 24sata, Sport Klub, Basketball.hr, HELL Energy Drink, Aircash, Pixsell, Lenovo, Jadrolinija, Energy Basket, Tahograf, Antao, Aero ZG, Cool i Dana, a turnir u Umagu održan je uz podršku Grada Umaga i Turističke zajednice Grada Umaga.
Winners of the PRO 3×3 Tour in Umag announced, Šibenik and the final tournament in Novalja are next
The winner of the PRO 3×3 Tour in Umag is Ljubljana Jug 3×3, which defeated their fellow Slovenian team Klančar Kranovi 22:21 in the final after overtime. With this victory, Ljubljana Jug 3×3 secured a place at the final tournament, which will be held in Novalja on July 31 and August 1.
The same achievement was made in the U19 category by the players of Perkmandlc.com, who defeated 3×3 Zabok 19:10 in the final.
Both trophies therefore went to Slovenia. The medals for Ljubljana Jug 3×3 were won by Luka Kureš, Luka Novak, Matija Kalan and Žiga Fifolt, while Perkmandlc.com was represented by Adnan Šljivar, Gal Štembergar, Martin Grabnar and Žan Đurkić.
The traditional Kids Day was also held, with participants from the Umag Basketball Club taking part, joined by young tourists spending their holidays in the city. Through games and basketball challenges, the youngest participants had the opportunity to learn about the excitement and rules of 3×3 basketball.
The Dunking Devils brought additional energy to the program with their spectacular dunks, acrobatics and entertaining performances, delighting the audience and raising the atmosphere.
The event was attended by Tomislav Paškvalin, the Commissioner of the President of the Republic of Croatia for Sport and a two-time Olympic gold medalist in water polo, who also tried his hand at shooting baskets.
“Basketball and street basketball were part of my upbringing. It is a sport I have always loved, followed and played. It was an integral part of our everyday lives from elementary school through high school and beyond. That is why I especially welcome events like this and these valuable sports stories. When we see all these children and young people here in Umag, it is clear how much sport contributes to togetherness, friendship and international cooperation. This is truly a wonderful story,” said Paškvalin.
The awards for the best teams were presented by Zlatko Galijot, president of the PRO 3×3 Association and one of the tournament referees.
“The PRO 3×3 Tour has once again shown how sport brings people of all generations together. On the court, we watched top-level basketball, while off the court new friendships were created, a love for sport was shared and a sense of community was built. Congratulations to all teams on their excellent performances, thank you to the audience for the great atmosphere, and to all partners and volunteers who contributed to another successfully organized tournament,” said Galijot.
Umag was the eighth stop of this year’s PRO 3×3 Tour. Only one more stop remains before the grand final tournament in Novalja – Šibenik, which will host the final qualifying tournament on July 24 and 25. All tournaments are broadcast live on Sport Klub.
