HVAR 2024. RECAP
Kvalitetna i iskusna crnogorska 3×3 momčad Podgorica Kodio pobijedila je u seniorskoj konkurenciji snažnog međunarodnog turnira u 3×3 košarci, koji je 17. i 18. svibnja 2024. organiziran u Hvaru. Bio je to drugi turnir u okviru aktualne treće sezone PRO 3×3 Toura, serije međunarodnih turnira u 3×3 košarci, koja se održava pod punim nazivom PRO 3×3 Tour 2024. driven by Opel.
Dvodnevni turnir organiziran je na impresivnoj lokaciji hvarske Pjace, odnosno Trga Svetog Stjepana, u samom središtu Hvara pred brojnom publikom, u kojoj su se našli posjetitelji iz Hrvatske i inozemstva. U zanimljivoj finalnoj utakmici, odigranoj u subotu navečer, 18. svibnja, Podgorica Kodio nadvisila je hrvatsku ekipu Borik Bjelovar rezultatom 20:16. Osim FIBA bodova, prvoplasiranoj momčadi u Senior Elite Men kategoriji pripala je i novčana nagrada od 2.000 eura te posebna nagrada. Naime, budući da je turnir u Hvaru imao prestižan status FIBA 3×3 Lite Questa, pobjednici su se izravno plasirali na svjetski Challenger turnir koji će se odigrati u kanadskom Quebecu! Inače, pobjednici su nastupili u sastavu: Petar Ivanović, Miloš Jovanović, Marko Raičević i Aleksa Vujadinović. Drugoplasiranoj ekipi pripao je iznos od 600 eura, a trećeplasirana momčad Aluplastik Živinice (Bosna i Hercegovina) dobila je 400 eura. I ove godine na PRO 3×3 Touru održavaju se ogledi juniorskih U-19 ekipa u 3×3 košarci. Pobjednik juniorskog natjecanja u Hvaru postala je ekipa Nikad Duja koja je u finalu svladala ekipu Rođaci rezultatom 14:7. Treće mjesto osvojila je ekipa Tijarica.
„Drugu godinu zaredom održan je turnir PRO 3×3 Toura na predivnoj lokaciji u centru grada Hvara. Velik broj gledatelja uz teren, turisti koji nisu skrivali oduševljenje ovom manifestacijom, nagradne igre u šutiranju na koš koje su involvirale publiku u velikom broju, djeca iz grada Hvara oduševljena košarkom… To je ozračje koje opravdava sav trud uložen u organiziranje ovakvog događaja. Košarka koju smo vidjeli bila je atraktivna, dinamična i vrlo zanimljiva. Kvalitetne međunarodne ekipe, juniori koji su pokazali da 3×3 u Hrvatskoj ima budućnost, sve je bilo izvrsno“, istaknuo je Tomislav Prpić iz Udruge PRO 3×3, glavnog organizatora PRO 3×3 Toura 2024. driven by Opel.
Drugoga dana u Hvaru organiziran je i Kids Day s brojnim sadržajima i događanjima namijenjenima djeci koji je polučio odaziv mnogih mališana. Bila je organizirana i edukacija o 3×3 košarci za igrače, suce, pomoćne suce, djecu i gledatelje. Također, valja posebno istaknuti, da su organizatori i domaćini uspješno priveli turnir kraju, unatoč tome što je loše vrijeme cijeli program drugoga dana i večeri odgodilo za gotovo puna četiri sata.
„Izuzetno nas veseli što je grad Hvar i ove godine bio domaćin jedne od 10 etapa PRO 3×3 Toura. Ekipe iz kategorije Elite pokazale su, na najljepšoj dalmatinskoj Pjaci, svu atraktivnost i težinu ovog olimpijskog sporta, a interes juniorskih ekipa U-19 i hvarske djece dokaz je da košarka ima budućnost i na otocima. Još jednom čestitam svim pobjednicima i zahvaljujem svim ekipama na sudjelovanju, kao i organizatorima, Udruzi PRO 3×3, entuzijastima i zaljubljenicima u košarku koji su u Hvar donijeli pozitivnu energiju, sportski duh, fair play i vrhunski sportsko-edukativno-turistički event. Vjerujem da ova priča ima budućnost, ne samo u natjecateljskom smislu već i kao turistički proizvod koji na atraktivan način objedinjuje promociju Hrvatske i 3×3 košarke. Treća postaja PRO 3×3 Tour 2024. driven by Opel ponovno se nalazi na morskoj obali, a idući turnir bit će organiziran 31. svibnja i 1. lipnja 2024. u lijepom istarskom gradu Umagu, ponovno na atraktivnoj lokaciji – Trgu slobode u samom središtu grada. Inače, ovogodišnji PRO 3×3 Tour će se u razdoblju od 10. svibnja do 17. kolovoza 2024. održati na ukupno 10 atraktivnih lokacija, većinom u središtima gradova, diljem Hrvatske.
Riječ je o jedinstvenom sportsko-turističko-edukativnom događaju koji ima i natjecateljski karakter. Osim financijske nagrade za najbolje, sve prijavljene ekipe iz Hrvatske i inozemstva prikupljaju bodove kako bi na taj način pokušale osigurati plasman na veliko finale u sklopu ovog Toura koje će biti organizirano 16. i 17. kolovoza 2024. u Šibeniku. PRO 3×3 Tour 2024. driven by Opel ponovno ima prestižan status FIBA Quest za mušku Elite kategoriju pa će pobjednik Završnog turnira 12. i 13. listopada 2024. putovati na FIBA 3×3 World Tour Masters u Amsterdam (Nizozemska)!

Organizatori PRO 3×3 Tour 2024. driven by Opel
The quality and experienced Montenegrin 3×3 team Podgorica Kodio won the senior competition of the strong international tournament in 3×3 basketball, which was organized on May 17 and 18, 2024 in Hvar. It was the second tournament within the current third season of the PRO 3×3 Tour, a series of international tournaments in 3×3 basketball, which is held under the full name PRO 3×3 Tour 2024 driven by Opel.
The two-day tournament was organized at the impressive location of Hvar’s Pjaca, that is, St. Stephen’s Square, in the very center of Hvar in front of a large audience, which included visitors from Croatia and abroad. In an interesting final match, played on Saturday evening, May 18, Podgorica Kodio overcame the Croatian team Borik Bjelovar with a score of 20:16. In addition to FIBA points, the first-placed team in the Senior Elite Men category also received a cash prize of 2,000 euros and a special prize. Namely, since the tournament in Hvar had the prestigious status of FIBA 3×3 Lite Quest, the winners directly qualified for the world Challenger tournament to be played in Quebec, Canada! Players of the winning team were: Petar Ivanović, Miloš Jovanović, Marko Raičević and Aleksa Vujadinović. The second-placed team received 600 euros, and the third-placed team Aluplastik Živinice (Bosnia and Herzegovina) received 400 euros. Trials of junior U-19 teams in 3×3 basketball are also being held this year at the PRO 3×3 Tour. The winner of the junior competition in Hvar was the Nikad Duja team, which defeated the Rođaci team in the final with a score of 14:7. The third place was won by the team from Tijarica.
“For the second year in a row, the PRO 3×3 Tour tournament was held at a wonderful location in the center of the town of Hvar. A large number of spectators by the field, tourists who did not hide their enthusiasm for this event, prize games in shooting a basket that involved the audience in large numbers, children from the town of Hvar enthusiastic about basketball… This is the atmosphere that justifies all the effort invested in organizing such an event. The basketball we saw was attractive, dynamic and very interesting. Quality international teams, juniors who showed that 3×3 in Croatia has a future, everything was excellent”, said Tomislav Prpić from the PRO 3×3 Association (Udruga PRO 3X3), the main organizer of the PRO 3×3 Tour 2024 driven by Opel.
On the second day in Hvar, Kids Day was organized with numerous contents and events intended for children, which received the response of many little ones. Education about 3×3 basketball was also organized for players, referees, assistant referees, children and spectators. Also, it should be emphasized that the organizers and hosts successfully brought the tournament to an end, despite the bad weather delaying the entire program of the second day and evening by almost four hours.
“We are extremely happy that the town of Hvar hosted one of the 10 stages of the PRO 3×3 Tour again this year. The teams from the Elite category showed, on the most beautiful Dalmatian Pjaca, all the attractiveness and difficulty of this Olympic sport, and the interest of the U-19 junior teams and children from Hvar is proof that basketball has a future on the islands as well. Once again, I congratulate all the winners and thank all the teams for their participation, as well as the organizers, the PRO 3×3 Association, enthusiasts and basketball lovers who brought positive energy, sportsmanship, fair play and a top sports-educational-tourist event to Hvar. I believe that this story has a future, not only in a competitive sense, but also as a tourist product that combines the promotion of Croatia and 3×3 basketball in an attractive way. We are happy that Hvar will be part of this story next year as well”, emphasized Iva Belaj Šantić, director of the Tourist Board of the town of Hvar.
The third stop of the PRO 3×3 Tour 2024 driven by Opel is again on the sea coast, and the next tournament will be organized on May 31 and June 1, 2024 in the beautiful Istrian city of Umag, again at an attractive location – Trg slobode (Freedom Square) in the very center of the city. By the way, this year’s PRO 3×3 Tour will be held in the period from May 10 to August 17, 2024 at a total of 10 attractive locations, mostly in city centers, throughout Croatia.
It is a unique sports-tourist-educational event that also has a competitive character. In addition to the financial prize for the best, all registered teams from Croatia and abroad collect points in order to try to secure a place in the grand final as part of this Tour, which will be organized on August 16 and 17, 2024 in Šibenik. PRO 3×3 Tour 2024 driven by Opel once again has the prestigious FIBA Quest status for the men’s Elite category, so the winner of the Final Tournament on October 12 and 13, 2024 will travel to the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Masters in Amsterdam (Netherlands)!
